21 Day Fix by Beachbody

Like a lot of people, one of my New Year resolutions was to get in shape/healthier. But, unlike a lot of people, I'm actually doing something about it. Enter Beachbody's 21 Day Fix! I had been thinking about trying this one for awhile. Well, thinking about it isn't going to help me get fit... In order for me to be successful, I needed accountability so I ordered the Challenge pack which included being added to my friend's (and coach) Challenge group on FB. We check in every day, ask questions, and get help when needed. Lucky for me I have a competitive side so that helps me make sure I check in.

The hardest part for me was changing the way I eat. I didn't eat horrible but I had a LOT of room for improvement! The containers helped me with portion control and making sure I ate more of the right foods. Meal prep (which I hate) is also a big help. I find I snack on much healthier things since they are already prepared vs grabbing some chips or such. There are a TON of recipes you can find too. My hubby even likes a lot of them and that says a lot ;)

The workouts were tough at first but you can follow Kat in the videos and do modified moves until you're able to follow Autumn (who does make the workouts fun). I've already noticed a difference in myself. I am more flexible and able to modify a lot less now.  I can't say it's been the easiest thing I've done but it's far from the hardest. I'm finishing up week 2 and am excited to start week 3 and continue getting fit and healthier!

I highly recommend this workout program for anyone who wants to make a difference in they're life! And I can recommend a great coach too! ;)
